Volunteers make our mission possible. Any time you have to give is a valuable contribution to providing support for survivors in our communities. Subscribe to our mailing list to be notified when volunteer events and days become available.

Tasks vary widely depending on current needs but could include writing letters, tracing and cutting fabric, serging totes, packing outfits and toiletries, organizing inventory, etc.

Due to space limitations, we can currently only host groups of six or less at our office. For larger groups, we are happy to bring materials to your space for an event! Contact us for more information.

  • A supply drive is an easy way to get your organization involved in supporting survivors by donating new items to be given to survivors at our partnered healthcare facilities. For more information, check out our Drive Guide.

    If you or your group/organization are potentially interested in hosting a supply drive, please email hello@layersofdignity.com.

    Please note that we only accept new-with-tags clothing items and unopened toiletry items.

  • We deliver pre-packed totes to our healthcare facility partners as needed, which typically means we make a few deliveries per month in total. If you are interested in delivering totes, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, feel free to email hello@layersofdignity.com.

  • If you have a serger machine and would like to take home fabric to make tote bags at your own pace, we now offer at-home serging! If you’re interested, please out this form. If you have any questions, reach out to hello@layersofdignity.com.
